Thrift Sisters Link Up: Lace Crochet Dress

Wednesday, September 3, 2014

This week the Thrifting Diva and I are rocking lace. Make sure to stop by Ayana'a blog to get the details about her look too! I scored my lace dress for only $1.50 at the Park Ave Thrift Outlet in Woodstock. Read more about this fabulous find HERE.

Clutch $5: Vintage (Last Chance Thrift Stores Chamblee)
Shorts $1.50: Bongo (Park Ave Thrift Outlet Woodstock)
Belt $2.94: Vintage (Value Village Roswell)
Necklace $10: (Funky Flair Boutique)
Shoes $10: Aldo (House of uBuhle)
TOTAL: $30.94

I could not wait to rock this lace crochet dress. I wore it to a rooftop happy hour meet up with my blogger buddies. Since it was an outdoor rooftop event, I knew my dress would be perfect for the occasion. I usually would style a sheer dress with a slip, but I figured it would be more fun to try something a little more fun. So instead of a slip, I wore a nude bra and high waist denim shorts under my lace dress. It was a great alternative to the traditional slip! And it encouraged a few priceless looks too!
How would you style a lace dress?

This week’s featured Thrift Sister is Ada from Elegance and Mommyhood. She shopped her closet and rocked her favorite jumpsuit. What a gorgeous floral print!  Click HERE to check out her personal style blog.

Now, it's time for the link up! Let the party begin! The link will remain open for 5 days. So go ahead and show us your favorite thrifted lace dress or any thrifty priced fashion under $50. Next week's theme is TBA. Here are our thrift Sisters Link Up Rules:
