Thrift Sisters Link Up: Polka Dots

Wednesday, September 24, 2014

This week the Thrifting Diva and I are rocking polka dots. Be sure to stop by Ayana'a blog to get the details on her thrifted bodycon skirt and polka dot blouse! Her look is what I call grown and sexy. I am wearing a black and white polka dress that I scored during the September 20th Thrifting Atlanta Bus Tour.

Dress $1.75: Betsey Johnson (Park Ave Thrift Outlet Woodstock)
Sweater $1.75: Trina Turk (Park Ave Thrift Outlet Woodstock)
Handbag $9: Vintage (Chic PreLoved Boutique)
Shoes $25: Christian Louboutin (Designer Consigns)
TOTAL: $42.50

I fell in love with this dress at first sight. The enormous white dots, the boat neck style and of course the pockets. It was perfection. Fall weather is sneaking in here in Georgia so I paired it with my black cardigan sweater. Aren't those sleeves magical?  I am a sucker for peep toes so I am going to wear them as long as can, till it time for Fall shoes. These shoes are one of treasured finds. I scored them as a final sale because they were well loved and I had to replace the soles. Now they are like new again.

Now, let’s jump into our Thrift Sisters link up!  Ayana and I launched our Thrift Sisters link up, to encourage our readers to post their thrifted or thrifty priced items during our thrift party link-up.  Thank you to all of you that took time to join us.This week’s featured Thrift Sister is Tiffany Ima from Style Honestly.  We loved her thrifted blazer and the way she styled it with a dress and knee high boots.  Check out her blog for even more stylish outfits.
