Thrift Haul of the Week: America's Thrift Store

Monday, February 16, 2015

I stop at the thrift store at least 2-3 times a week to fulfill my thrift wish list and also to see what I can add to my closet. My monthly thrift budget is $50. When deciding if I will purchase an item, I always think about how I will incorporate it with my current pieces. If I can't make the item into an outfit immediately or I don't know how I would style it, I will not purchase it. This is a great way for me to keep my closet filled with pieces that I love.

So this week I visited Americas Thrift Stores in Marietta, GA. This store is huge with racks and racks of clothing, shoes, shoes, household knick knacks and furniture too. Clothing and shoes are organized by size. There are 2 color tags that are an one sale. Once color is additional 50% off and the other color is 30% off. You can also return items within 30 days for a store credit. Very unusual for a thrift store.

I spent about 2 hours in the store and a scored the following five blouses and two skirts for under $30:

Missoni by Target $3.99

 Bisou Bisou Body Suit $3.99
LAUREN Ralph Lauren Skirt $2.79 (30 % off)
East 5th Skirt $3.49 (30% off)
 J.CREW Button Down $3.99
H & M Top $1.50 (50% off)
Shapley Pussy Bow Blouse $3.99

What have you thrifted lately? Which one of my pieces are your favorite?
