This summer, we have decided to take a break from the expected; you know, the usual "oh I'm going to just relax," which could easily become doing nothing and complaining about missed opportunities later. In order to avoid such a rut, we both intend to expand out horizons to new areas and experiences this summer. Visit people we been promising to see over the years; experience weather different than we've come to know; eat food we have been wanting to try; finish book we stopped reading midway through; and experiment with styles that are not typically ours. How do you plan to take it up a notch?
I heart this romper too! You don't have to wait till 15 lbs lighter to wear a romper...whether a size 2 or 22..it's all about finding one that is just right for you body shape.
ReplyDeleteLove your entire look! Rompers are my summer staple. You have a new follower!

What a great idea for summer! For me, my schedule has been so packed with back to back obligations, I would love a day to just sit back and relax. And remember how much I need to get a hammock . . . You have such a beautiful smile! Love the pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou have fabulous legs, so good for you to flaunt them in that superb jumpsuit. Loving the jacket, too.

I Love this look! Makes me want to bull my sequined blazer out! I discovered your Blog on the Bloggers Do it Better: Neon + Neutral Challenge. I Love how you two combine Fashion and Faith. You ladies mix modern, classy, and vintage so well and for that I MUST award you with the “Stylish Blogger” Award! Check my blog for the details.

You look gorgeous! I love that shot of your awesome shoes (and legs!) where you're looking over the little railing!
ReplyDeleteAnd what a fabulous idea of how to spend your summer! I should do something like that, only make it about fun things to do and experience with the kidlets. Otherwise, like you said, summer will be gone before we know it and will be totally wasted!
Loving this outfit! Girl those shoes are insanely awesome!

Those shoes...those shoes! The entire ensemble is gorgeous, though! I actually plan to take my summer DOWN a notch...at least for a little while. As a teacher, last summer was marked with workshops galore. This summer is as well, but I want to spend more time hanging out with my four-year old son.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THAT ROMPER!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I lose my 15 lbs I am going to get you to help me find a romper. THANKS ;)

p.s. I can't wait to see you again and the Blogger Meetup. It's gonna be so fun! :)
For me relaxing and spending time with myself will be taking it up a notch since it is something I rarely do. I want to be good for my students, family and friends when I do visit.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the first photo my immediate thoughts was WOW this is a great summer look. I don't own a romper but now I'm really considering purchasing one. The shoes, accessories and nail polish are adorable.
