Stylish Review: Shopatico Virtual Wardrobe Organizer

Sunday, December 29, 2013

The end of the year, is the perfect time to purge your closet, organize your favorite pieces and of course a great excuse to go shopping for new pieces too. \

As a personal shopper, I have been very busy helping my clients do their end of year wardrobe audits. But I am always looking for ways to help me visually manage their wardrobe and then show them how to mix-and-match pieces to create outfits.

So imagine my excitement when I was asked to review Shopatico, an online website where you can keep track of your wardrobe, online purchases, wish lists, create outfits and share it all with via several applications including social media platforms too.

When you register for Shopatico, you can start building and managing your virtual wardrobe using one or a combination of the following ways:

  • Email Shopatico your online purchase confirmation and they add those images to your closet.
  • Upload pictures of your clothing or pictures of you wearing your favorites outfits to your closet.
  • Add the Shopatico Selector to your tool bar and while window shopping online and add those images to your closet.
You can now share your virtual wardrobe with other Shopatico members (and your social media friends too!), get style inspiration and where to buy info too.

Here are a few looks I created to share with you!

This dress is a recent purchase from Diva Diva Boutique. But I added a necklace while window shopping online at Nasty Gal. So now when I am ready to purchase, I just go to my virtual closet to complete the sale.

This is a vintage sequin blazer that I added to my want list. From here I can share it on Facebook or start a new look in my closet.

If you like to organize your closet, need some style inspiration or create wish lists to send to loved ones, I suggest you sign up for Shopatico. I am really enjoying it and I think you would too!

How do you keep your closet organized? Do you currently use a virtual organizing system?

Thrifted Trends: Vintage Sequin Blouse and Denim

Thursday, December 26, 2013

Blouse- Vintage and Shoes- Guess(Shop Kays Closet)/Jeans- Joes (Park Ave Thrift)

I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas day with your family and loved ones. My day started of a little blue, I call it the single girl holiday blues. It gets a little nostaligic over the holidays when you start thinking about what could have been etc.  But by the time I got those holiday text messages and phone calls the holiday blues slowly began going away. Then I got dressed in my festive sequin top and denim skinny jeans, headed over to my cousin's house for Christmas lunch, my holiday single girl blues were long gone. I enjoyed spending the day with my family and that is what matters the most. The other things will come along in his timing and I will remain patient.

For my single ladies, how do overcome the holiday blues?

Thrifted Trends: Jeweled Embellished Sweater

Sweater-(Diva Diva Boutique)/ Boots- Just Fab(Goodwill Johns Creek)/Pants- Club Monaco (Value Village Roswell)

Last weekend, I attended the Re2urrection fashion cocktail party at the The W Atlanta Downtown. Local designers showcased their one-of-a-kind designer pieces constructed from clothing selected from Goodwill of North Georgia stores. A silent auction followed the showcase to allow attendees to bid on each piece with proceeds to support Goodwill of North Georgia’s mission.

This was the perfect event to debut my jeweled embellished black and gold sweater that I scored from Diva Diva Boutique in Alpharetta. My blogger boo Wendy also attended and she wore a jumpsuit she scored from Angels Vintage Boutique. We also meet up with a few Atlanta Thrifting Fashionistas too!

Here are a few of my favorite looks from the fashion show.

Fashion Show host radio personality Cynthia Mallard

I loved her sequin blazer.

Thrifted Trends: Leather Blazer

Friday, November 29, 2013

Blazer-GAP(Goodwill Augusta)/ Riding Boots- Nicole(Goodwill Long Island)/Sweater- Priscilla(Park Ave Thrift) Buy HERE/ Handbag- Gucci (Goodwill Alpharetta)/Pants- Club Monaco (Value Village Roswell)
The leather blazer is a wardrobe staple that every woman should own. AIthough leather is associated with the tough biker crew, I paired mine with a vintage sequin sweater to give it a festive holiday look. So make sure you add a leather blazer to your wardrobe, it is a timeless style that can be worn in the Fall and as a great transitional piece in the spring.

What is your favorite type of leather jacket?
