Today I am teaming up with Credit Card Insider's Splurge vs Save Campaign and my Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM is the perfect example of how I saved on a splurge purchase. Many of you know how much I wanted to add this bag to my wardrobe. It is timeless high quality statement bag that can be worn year round. After doing the cost per wear ratio, (Total cost of the item ÷ estimated number of days you’ll wear it = the cost per wear) I will be getting the biggest bang for my buck.

I added it to my thrift list because at the beginning of year. I knew that I would be able to score the same bag from a consignment store. After months of patience and stalking the social media accounts of my fave resale stores, I was able to finally bring home this designer beauty at 60% off the retail price.

What item did you decide to save on instead of splurge on?
