Thrifted Trends: Vintage Pleated Colorblock Sundress

Handbag: Vinatge (B & R Thrift Store)
Shoes: Aldo (House of Ubhule)

I scored this vintage beauty at Ecologie Consignment and Vintage during the bus tour I hosted last weekend. Although, I usually do not have much time to shop while hosting the bus tours, I did manage to see this dress in the store window and I knew that I had to have it! I immediately fell in love with the color and the color block at the bottom; the beautiful pleats and the tie shoulder straps too! It reminded me of the sundresses I wore when I was a little girl. The only thing that would have made this dress perfect--pockets!!

What are the details that you look for in a sundress?

  1. I love the length! Yes, the only thing missing in this dress is the pockets! I am going to learn to sew pockets into every dress and skirt I have...lol. Probably not, but pockets is the tipping point for me if I am considering buying a sirkt or dress.
