Thrift Sisters Link Up: Preppy Plaid

This week the Thrifting Diva and and I are styling our preppy plaid separates. Be sure to stop by Ayana's blog for details on her edgy school girl look. I styled my vintage plaid sleeveless dress with a grey cardigan.

WHAT I WORE

Shoes $7- (Park Avenue Thrift Store Duluth)

Purse $5- Gucci (Goodwill North Georgia Grasslands)
Cardigan $1.50- Halogen (Park Ave Thrift Outlet Woodstock)

Total $14.50

I scored this plaid vintage dress back in March during the Back By Popular Demand Consignment $1 Sale. It is actually midi length, but I styled it as a mini dress and added the cardigan to give it an updated feel. The grey opaque tights and grey shoes are a sweet complement and gives this outfit a polished look.
