Events: 2017 June Thrifting Atlanta Bus Tour (Photo Recap)

What I love more than thrift shopping, is to share my passion and be an inspiration so others would try thrift shopping too. In 2011, I started the Thrifting Atlanta community because I wanted to get the message out to as many people that I could, here in Atlanta and nationwide.

Today our social network has grown to over 30K members who are thrift shopping veterans and newbies, resale business owners and "thrifting" fashion bloggers. We enjoy thrifting at thrift, consignment and vintage shops.

Through our in-person events including monthly thrift shopping bus tours, fashion swaps and our annual Thrifting Atlanta Fashion Week, we spread the joy and art of thrifting in the city we affectionately call home: ATLANTA! The bus tours are a great way for thrifting newbies and experts, to learn more about the great thrift stores in Atlanta.

We travel on a chauffeured bus to shop up to ten thrift, vintage and consignments stores on one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) each month. Shoppers enjoy exclusive discounts at each store and get a bag lunch too. But most importantly are the friendships developed during the day.

Last weekend we visited the following stores: Goodwill Sandy Springs, Alexis Suitcase Consignment Sandy Springs, My Best Friend's Closet Consignment, Cherokee Rose Shoppe, Goodwill Perimeter.

Check out a brief photo recap our thrift shopping day.
