Granny Plaids

Top- Express (Value Village)/ Skirt- Vintage (B & R Thrift)/ Clutch- Vintage (Value Village)/ Shoes- No Name/ Accessories-Vintage

I scored this super cute pleated plaid skirt at B & R Thrift Store in Sandy Springs. It it now one of my favorite places to thrift on Thursday's because all women's clothing is 50% off. You can't beat that deal.

But even more exciting is the Thrifted Fashion Showcase that I am co-hosting along with thrifting partner Kerrie of Virtuous Styls. We will style models in thrifted fashion to showcase that thrifty can be stylish too. All of our guests will get a coupon worth 30% or 50% off their purchase. Plus we will be on hand to shop and style our VIP guests. I invite my Atlanta friends to come out to support!!

So what do you think of my plaid skirt. I admit that I am not a big fan of plaids, but it's a trend that I wanted to try. I fell in love with the color, length and the fit. Will you be wearing plaids this season? If so, would you buy this trend retail or resale?

  2. I think this is cute. I haven't been overly anxious to get into the plaid skirt trend but this is inspiring me to try. I am featuring plaid in the upcoming Goodwill Huntingg Thrifting Guide magazine.

  10. I really like the skirt.  Your chic style, takes all the granny away!  Do you think a skirt that length will work on someone who is 5'2?
