Thrift Haul Thursday: Park Avenue Thrift Outlet Woodstock

Thursday, January 30, 2014

My family from New Orleans came to Atlanta this past weekend to visit. Of course, I had to take them thrifting. Since I had never been to the Park Ave Thrift Outlet Woodstock location, I thought it would make for a great family thrifting adventure. A family that thrifts together stays together.

My cousin Shari, My aunt Mary Louisa, My mom Mary Ann and me

We went to the location in Woodstock. On Sunday's everything is $1.50 and then it decreases 25cents each day until the prices starts at $2.00 on Friday. Below are the pictures of the pieces I scored:

Vintage Black and White Color Block Pumps by Proxy

Vintage Floral Print Dress: No hanger appeal but on my body, it is perfection. With a plunging neckline, midi length and pockets, it is love at first sight.

Vintage Jumpsuit Studded with pearls: Again no hanger appeal but when I tried it on, I fell in love again.

Maxi Flute Skirt: The stripes caught my eye and of course that silhouette is winner.

High Waist Light Washed Denim by Gitano: I admit this one was a nostalgic purchase but I think I can figure out a way to wear it with a modern twist.

Polka Dot Skinny Jeans by Gap: This is great trendy piece to add to my jeans collection.

Cobalt Blue Skinny Jeans by Gap: Another great trendy piece to add to my jeans collection.

Denim Jeans by New York and Company: I loved the front pockets and it is the perfect length.

Black and White Strapless Dress by The Limited: You can never wrong with a strapless dress and it has pockets too!

Vintage Floral 2-piece set: I loved this 2-piece floral print set. The bottoms are actually culottes with pockets. I can't wait to wear this look either as a set or separately.

Vintage Black Special Occasion Top: You know I had to get this one, exaggerated puffy sleeves and bows with sparkly accents. It screamed my name.

The Little Black Dress by bebe: This will be my motivation dress, until it fits like a glove, it will remain in my closet. LOL

Which piece is your favorite? Have you shopped the Park Ave Thrift Outlet?
