Thrift Sisters Link Up: Maxi Skirt

This week the Thrifting Diva and I are rocking polka dots. Be sure to stop by Ayana'a blog to get the details on her gorgeous blue faux wrap maxi skirt. I told her I have first dibs on her entire look. I am wearing a vintage wrap maxi skirt that I scored from Goodwill Johns Creek.

Skirt $5: No Label (Goodwill Johns Creek)
Jacket $5 JCrew (Park Ave Thrift Duluth)
Shoes $5: Guess (Goodwill Johns Creek)
Clutch $3: No Label (Value Village Roswell)
Top $0: Express (Fashion Swap)
Total $18

My vintage skirt has such a modern style, including that thigh high split due to the style of wrap skirt. It has a thick waistband with extended long ties, so it's a one size fit all. Plus it can be maximized and worn several different ways too. I will do a separate blog post to show off this skirts versatility. It will certainly make a style statement! For this look, I styled it with a red halter top that I scored at a fashion swap and my very faithful denim jacket. A denim jacket is a must-have because it complements so many looks.

Now, let’s jump into our Thrift Sisters link up!  Ayana and I launched our Thrift Sisters link up, to encourage our readers to post their thrifted or thrifty priced items during our thrift party link-up.  Thank you to all of you that took time to join us. This week’s featured Thrift Sister is Heather from Thrift Stories.  We loved how she styled her beaded dinner jacket with her denim skinny jeans. Check out her blog for even more stylish outfits.

Now it’s your turn to join us this week.  Please link up your favorite thrifted or thrifty priced item. Here are the rules.  Go ahead and link up for a chance to be featured as our next Thrift Sister!
