This past weekend, I attended the Back By Popular Demand Consignment Dollar Sale. This annual event is a fundraiser that supports a local charity selected by the owner. I was among the early birds, arriving at 6:30am (the sale started at 8 am), in the hopes of catching the best deals. With over 20,000 pieces of clothing, accessories and shoes to be set-up for the sale, owner Melissa Baxter, and her team were very busy getting everything organized. I am always amazed at how they do this so effortlessly. I guess this is due to their over 13 years experience hosting an event of the scale. Big KUDOS to them for pulling off an amazing event that is well organized, safe and full of quality merchandise.
Here are my must-have tips for a successful day:
ARRIVE EARLY. Get a sneak peek and set-up of the inventory. That way you can develop your strategy and know which items you will shop first.
WEAR THRIFTING UNIFORM. This is an outdoor event, so there are no fitting rooms!
BRING FRIENDS. The more the merrier and you can score items for each other.

I came for shoes and I was happy to nab these fab finds of the day. Shoes for me and some for my thrift sisters too. Great brands to include Nine West, Pelle Moda, Via Spiga, Steve Madden, BCBG and much more.
