Thrift shopping is unlike shopping at a department store, it is more like a treasure hunt. So it requires patience and preparation too! Before I step foot into my favorite thrift store, I spend some time to prepare for my thrift shopping day. From deciding what to wear to packing a yummy snack, will ensure that I have a fun and successful day. Below are my top tips on what to bring and how to shop for savings and score amazing secondhand fashion.
WEAR A THRIFTING UNIFORM. Some stores do not have dressing rooms or if they do the lines are long and they limit the amount of pieces you can take in the dressing. So wear leggings (or a skirt, dress) a close fitting top and shoes that are easy to slip on and off. This will allow you to try on clothes without getting undressed.
