Thrifted Trends: Spring 2012 Cross Body Bags

One of my favorite things that I enjoy most about thrifting is finding the latest trends at such a bargain. I consider my personal style to be more classic as I prefer timeless pieces that I wear every season. So when it comes to adding trendy pieces, the thrift stores are a gold mine. I am a big advocate of thrifting for trend. I blogged about it HERE and HERE so I hope you get my point. LOL  


As I begin preparing for my Spring wardrobe (and shop for my clients, you can HIRE ME too, I always start looking for accessories because it's one of the easiest ways to update your wardrobe. Cathy O'Brien from National Handbag Examiner confirms that the hottest handbag trend for Spring 2012 is the Cross Body Handbag. 


I love this style because it frees up your hands (when thrifting) and it's easier to wear than the shoulder bags. Each of the bags pictured below was thrifted for less than $10. I need to add one more-- possibly a bold colored one!!

I scored this black leather cross body bag by Dooney and Burke from B & R Thrift Store. 

You guys know I love sequins, so I had to pick up this one too. I scored this one from Goodwill North Georgia- Roswell. Couldn't find a label, but It's the cutest cross body sequin purse. 

This brown cross body bag, does not have a label either. However, etched under the flap is the following Natural Leather Hand-Made In Italy. I scored this one from B & R Thrift Store.
