Last weekend, I was invited to the 31st birthday celebration of my Blog Fab Fashionista, Parker Simmons of Everyday Runway. She hosted an amazing brunch at Social Vinnings that was filled with great food, close friends and deep tear jerking moments.

The Blog Fab Fashionistas were in the building.
My outfit for the day: Black & White Stripes with Floral Print. This is my first time in a while wearing retail clothing, but I could not pass up the resale prices. I picked up these pieces while I was out shopping for a client. The skirt and top were on clearance. Both pieces under $15.

I heart the mixed prints trend. I did it HERE and HERE. The key to pulling of this look is to make sure that you have the same color combination in both pieces. My color combination of choice was black and white. I kept the accessories simple and the shoes neutral for the effortless chic look.

If you haven't tried this trend, start now! Stripes and florals are the easiest mixed prints to pull off. What are your tips for styling mixed prints?
