Thrift Shopping: Goodwill Oakland Park Florida


I know you would not believe me if I told you that this is a Goodwill right. Well it is the Goodwill located in Oakland Park, Florida at 1099 E. Oakland Park Blvd.  I walked in to this store and was in awe by the spacious store, quality items and friendly customer service. It is about 20,000 square feet and filled with such great items, from vintage to trendy. Here is a photo recap of my visit:

    everytime i'm in that area, i never stop in that store. next time i'm there, i have to stop in and check it out, lol. nice finds, btw

    Wow, your goodwill is like a big box store! I love to go to my local goodwill, but I usually shop for vintage dishes.

    Goodwills have come a long way. Long gone are the days of overwhelming clutter. Do you find that as thrifting become more popular the prices are increasing?

    This goodwill is in Fort Lauderdale. Whenever I'm on vacation I always like to check out the thrift stores in the area. I wish it was my local Goodwill though. It's so beautiful.

    Yes I had a great time finding pieces, but it was a hard decision narrowing down my choices.

    That's a Goodwill store!?!? That looks like a mini department store. I am sure you found some great pieces and definitely at some great prices!

    Home sweet home!!! This is a fave spot when I'm home in South Florida. Were you able to check out Out of the Closet as well? Next time you're in the area, shoot me an email and I'll give you a list of my fave SoFlo thrift spots ;-)

    Yes @Dionne Dean this was such a nice Goodwill. Yes I did get a chance to visit Out of the Closet. I found a pair of ASOS pumps. Yes when I come back to visit, I will give you a heads up.

    @Reginia Cordell...yes they are really trying to attract the non-traditional thrifter. I have noticed a price increase, but I only think it's your typical price hike. After shopping the Goodwill in my area for the past 8 years, it recently rasied it prices about 60 cents across the board.
