I contemplated if I would join in the fun this month for the Bloggers Do It Better Arm Party Challenge.
What is an arm party? Well it's a term coined by the The Man Repeller, a fellow fashion blogger to describe the style of wearing multiple bracelets, watches, bangles etc. at the same time on your arms.
Well, I hate to be a party pooper, so here is how I rocked my "solo" arm party.
You see when it comes to accessories, I have a few set pieces that I seem to wear all the time. A necklace, earrings, watch and a bracelets is a lot of jewelry, so I usually pick one as the spotlight and keep the others a bit understated....you know to avoid competition.
Plus I obey Coco Chanel's word of advice “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off." Do you have an accessories style rule that you strictly follow?
Hey I just checked out you party too & you took this challenge up a notch. Thanks for stopping by my party, I appreciate your compliments.

ReplyDelete@bypierina thanks for the compliments...I have wearing a lot of navy this season...it's my alternative to wearing black LOL
ReplyDeleteummmm....I like that description too....an elegant arm party....
ReplyDeleteYes it's one that I live by...LOL...I may have to try that strategy too!
ReplyDeleteSo simple and classic. I love the watch. I was just looking at my arm candy the other day telling myself how badly I needed either a gold or brown watch.
ReplyDeleteAs for accessories...I prefer big and bold. Lots of color and never matching. For example if I'm wearing green, you better bet that the accessories will be orange or something crazy like that!

Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following and I appreciate the compliments...I wear the Michael Kors watch all the time. Heading to check out your blig now!!
ReplyDeleteI love simple and chic. This is so me.
ReplyDeleteI actually seem to change up my style rules every now and then. Like right now I seem to be into wearing 2 necklaces at once. I don't really do the "arm" party, but I did it for BDIB. For one it's annoying to type and do things all day with my wrist restricted and hearing clang clang clang of bangles. I love your solo arm party, though since you are double-wristing it, technically they are having a party together!
