Without a doubt, like the Costa Ricans say, I'm just La Pura Vida! On Sunday, I spent the evening with Beres Hammond (in my head LOL)...but I did finally attend the concert. It was originally scheduled on August 6th, but was rescheduled because the venue was struck by lightning and it would take hours before power would be restored.
This is the dress that I wore to the concert. It is a little sexier than the initial outfit, but still very classy.
For those of you wondering, I promise I do have more earrings, but this pair is just my fave when I want the glam-girl look. I admit I am a one trick pony when it comes to accessories..but I am working on being more adventurous.
Lastly, yesterday was the sixth year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, one of the deadliest Hurricanes in US History. Some of you may already know, but for those of you that may not, my family evacuated to Atlanta because of Hurricane Katrina.
It was a very traumatic experience for us, with a bittersweet ending. (read my interview viaThe Buzz In the City) I am very grateful that today I have a taste of Pura Vida! Surviving Hurricane Katrina has taught me to enjoy life, celebrate every moment and savor every memory. Are you living La Pura Vida?
