Celebrating Mother's Day

Sunday, May 15, 2011

We went to the historic Arnaud's Restaurant to celebrate Mother's Day. They are known for their delicious New Orleans style Jazz Brunch.

I wore this fab dress as a tribute to my mother.  Soon as I saw it at Goodwill, it reminded me of her.

My heart skipped a beat as my niece was serenaded by the jazz quartet.  Priceless picture!

The crabcake entree was perfection.

The jazz brunch at Arnaud's was memorable, and it will no doubt be a new tradition.

Oh and we had bananas foster, a classic New Orleans dessert, made tableside.

We took a walk through LaBelle Galerie

My niece was mesmerized because, according to her, she's "into the arts and crafts."

Two phenomenal mothers and three generations of finer womanhood (l-r, me, mom, niece, sis).  I love them so!
